Sunscreen: The One Non-Negotiable Step

Close to 80% of visible skin aging comes from the sun, not from age itself.

Why it matters most

UVA radiation passes through glass and cloud and reaches the deeper skin layers, where it breaks down collagen. The result is premature wrinkling and pigmentation that no later serum can undo.

How to choose one

  • SPF 30 minimum, SPF 50 for pigmentation-prone skin.
  • Look for Broad Spectrum or PA+++ for UVA cover.
  • Mineral filters such as zinc oxide are gentler on sensitive and rosacea-prone skin.

Amount and reapplication

The correct amount for face and neck is roughly a teaspoon. Reapply every two hours under direct sun.
